The 2024 Yiwu International Pet Supplies Fair ran for three days at the Yiwu International Expo Center from May 24 to 26.

Standing as a testament to Yiwu's robust foreign trade and e-commerce sectors, the expo aims to establish itself as the premier foreign trade pet products exhibition nationwide.

With over 600 exhibitors from the national pet industry, the expo spanned 20,000 square meters, showcasing a wide array of pet supplies, foods, aquarium products, live pets, and health care items.

Yiwu's pet product industry, boasting an annual turnover of 2 billion yuan ($276 million), commands a 10-percent share of China's pet product exports, serving markets in Europe, South America, and Southeast Asia.

The event attracted 20,000 visitors, including top manufacturers from across China. It also featured industry forums, exploring the future of the pet industry ecosystem, and hosted events like the Global Pet Industry Summit and the ICA Champion Cat Show.

Leveraging Yiwu's e-commerce strengths, the expo presented market trends on platforms like Alibaba and JD.com, uncovering new opportunities for expansion. It highlighted Yiwu's role as a one-stop direct sales center for pet supplies, offering over 30,000 products and fostering trade and industry dialogue.
