The inaugural ceremony for Yiwu's E-commerce Photography Base was held on Aug 1.

An e-commerce photography base is a dedicated photographic space catering to e-commerce merchants and content creators, offering specialized services and scenarios.

The base can provide services related to makeup, scenes, and costumes based on the requirements of different brands and products. This aids in producing high-quality images and short videos, thereby enhancing brand image and sales.

As a representative of the e-commerce photography bases in Yiwu, Yiwu Yandoo Yayue Hotel, under Zhejiang China Commodities City Group, will provide various room types (reservation is required two days in advance) and a hotel lobby, as well as public areas (subject to daily business conditions) free of charge until the end of September.

Yiwu currently boasts over 10 e-commerce photography bases. According to plans, more than 40 additional e-commerce photography bases will be established under various categories, such as natural landscapes, rural scenes, artistic spaces, hotels and guesthouses, and exotic settings.

In recent years, Yiwu's e-commerce sector has experienced rapid growth. By the end of June, the city was home to a total of 540,800 e-commerce entities, a year-on-year increase of 28.21 percent and representing over half of the total business entities in the city.
