Mohammed Al-Maitami, ambassador of Yemen to China, visited Yiwu from May 18 to 20.

The ambassador and his delegation were warmly received by Wang Wei, vice-mayor of Yiwu.

Wang seized the opportunity to share Yiwu's remarkable economic and social advancements, emphasizing key areas such as market exhibitions, youth entrepreneurship, business environment, and services related to foreign nationals.

Eager to deepen existing ties, Wang expressed hope that the visit would help further collaboration between China and Yemen across various domains, including economic and trade exchanges and cultural interactions.
