Chinagoods, an e-commerce platform launched by Yiwu-based Zhejiang China Commodities City Group, recently hosted a matchmaking meeting for merchants and Malaysian purchasers.

The meeting invited 10 buyers from Malaysia, mainly for bedding, household products, and outdoor products, to communicate with over 30 merchants at the Yiwu International Trade Market Area 4.

Due to the global COVID-19 epidemic, most merchants have turned to e-commerce platforms to promote their products and communicate with buyers. The Chinagoods platforms have organized a series of online matchmaking meetings oriented to buyers from different countries and regions and provided latest global trade information for users.

Zhu Xingping, deputy general manager of the marketing department of Yiwu Small Commodity City Big Data Co, said the Chinagoods platform, based on the digital reform, has built an online exhibition hall called "Take you to China" to display quality local products made in China. The platform also organizes one-to-one online matchmaking meetings, providing technical support for global merchants and buyers.

The "Benben to find goods" channel on the Chinagoods online platform can also help buyers easily compare goods and prices from different online merchants, said Zhu.

Zhu also noted that the Chinagoods online platform will continue to organize activities to help more industries trade online and promote e-commerce in China.
