Some Chinese and South Korean youth interested in innovation and entrepreneurship took part in a meeting at the Yiwu International Trade Market on July 19.

About 30 South Koreans taking part in this year's "Run with Yiwu" Global Youth Business Program shared their ideas and experiences doing business with students from the School of Foreign Languages of Peking University.

During the event, a South Korean businessman surnamed Nam shared his experiences owning a snack restaurant and a foreign trade company in Yiwu over the past six years.

Nam said that Yiwu is a city with opportunities and affection, providing a strong platform and good conditions for him to start a business.

As a key event of the "Run with Yiwu" Global Youth Business Program, the meeting provided participants with a platform to learn about the business environment in Yiwu and support offered by the local government for business.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Republic of Korea. South Korea is an important trading partner of Yiwu, which is home to among the most South Korean business people of any city in China.
