The 2022 Yiwu Stationery and Gift Fair kicked off at the Yiwu International Expo Center on July 3.

The exhibition was sponsored by the China Writing Instrument Association, covered an area of over 52,000 square meters and provided more than 2,500 standard booths for products such as stationery and office supplies, sporting goods, art supplies, books, creative products, and gifts.

Though the fair was postponed for more than a month due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19, exhibitors and buyers showed great enthusiasm for cooperation.

According to organizers, the expo attracted more than 40 stationery industry associations and over 30 large stationery wholesale markets from home and abroad, and a number of supply-chain procurement platforms and government agencies were also invited. The expo is expected to attract more than 80,000 professional visitors.

During the three-day fair, a total of 50 buses will travel between the Yiwu International Expo Center and the Yiwu International Trade Market Area 3, making transportation more convenient for merchants and visitors.

A sub-event of the fair was held on July 4, allowing more than 30 stationery associations from the Asia-Pacific region to introduce the development status of the industry amid the COVID-19 epidemic and discuss how to promote mutual trade under the current circumstances.
