Mulberries ready for picking in Zhangjia village

With the arrival of May, mulberries in Zhangjia village, Yiting town, Yiwu are now in season, and many are looking forward to their sweet juicy taste.

Zhangjia village currently grows mulberries over an area of eight hectares. April and May is the peak mulberry production period, and each mulberry garden is able to receive more than 50 tourists per day.

The mulberry plantation developed in the city's Zhangjia village is the best of its kind - tasty, all-natural and pollution-free.

With the help of a gentle spring breeze and bright sunshine, mulberries in red, dark purple and black enchant visitors, as if they are just waiting to picked.

The berries are also good for the liver and kidney and help improve blood circulation, as well as promote skin elasticity and firmness.

Picking season will be open until the end of May. Anyone interested can visit the mulberry gardens in Zhangjia village and take a basket of self-picked mulberries costing 25 yuan ($3.9) while enjoying natural views in the village.
