The 2022 Chinese New Year Gala for Chinese and Foreign Friends is set to take place in Yiwu, Zhejiang province, on Jan 29.

The gala's organizers are the Foreign Affairs Office of the Yiwu Municipal People's Government, the Federation of Literary and Art Circles of Yiwu City, and the Yiwu Administration of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism, and Sports.

The annual gala is an important event for expats and natives of Yiwu to celebrate the Spring Festival together. It was first held in 2014.

This year's gala will be live broadcast on the iYiwu News app, running from 2 pm to 3 pm on Jan 29.
