Jiting village in Fotang town, Yiwu, Zhejiang province, boasts 200 years of history in making millennium-old Red Yeast Wine, a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage item in Yiwu.

Most households in the village still maintain the tradition of making and drying red yeasts in autumn. The village's annual output of red yeast is around 50,000 kilograms.

These days, the younger generations are embracing livestream e-commerce to promote local Red Yeast Wines in both the domestic and international markets.
