The opening of Zhejiang province's second duty-free shop in Yiwu International Airport has been approved, according to the municipal finance bureau on July 31.

Yiwu International Airport is the largest airport in the central and western part of Zhejiang province. The airport enjoys a favorable location, as it is only 5.5 kilometers from downtown Yiwu, 4.3 km from the exit of the Hangzhou-Jinhua-Quzhou Expressway, and 4 km from Yiwu Railway Station.

From 2017 to the end of 2019, daily flights at the airport have increased from 30 to 50, while annual arrivals and departures have increased from 35,000 to 180,000.

To better serve passengers, the airport has improved the commercial environment in the terminal buildings, optimized product selection and introduced popular chain restaurants.
