Xu graduated from Tsinghua University with a master's degree in computer science. He has worked at Microsoft, Sohu, and Sogou in a leadership role and developed the earliest version of an internet content publishing system and internet video media advertising system in China.

Yiwugo is focused on serving the small commodity wholesale market. The website makes it more convenient to exchange products through online channels.

Many sellers on Yiwugo can connect with new buyers in China and abroad at a low cost. Yiwugo currently has 53,000 merchants, 800,000 individual visitors, 15 million page views, and 5 million registered buyers, of which 10 percent are foreign. It has become the most influential e-commerce platform in the domestic professional market.

"The company is desperate for seasoned technical leaders. Under the leadership of Xu Hongbing, Yiwugo is expected to see a marked improvement," said Wang Jianjun, CEO of Yiwugo.

Many enterprises in China have begun focusing on the industrial internet, and its huge market potential is attracting increasing numbers of professionals, many of whom are taking jobs at Yiwugo.
