Yiwu, a county-level city in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, has opened the province's first immigration service center - Jincheng International Home, local media reported on June 17.

Located close to the Yiwu International Trade Market, Jincheng International Home serves the many foreigners in the city.

In order to offer better services, local police officers set up a one-stop platform that covers all immigration services in the entire community, which could make it much easier for foreigners to move to the city.

The center provides foreigners with daily services such as immigration policy clarification, visa expiration reminders, guidance for online administration, and dispute resolution.

The center offers efficient services for foreigners in the local community and features a special area for cultural activities for foreigners to learn about Chinese culture and better assimilate.

According to the public security bureau of Yiwu, the city has around 15,000 foreign residents from more than 100 countries and receives more than 550,000 foreign merchants every year.
