◎Road

Yiwu is a traffic hub in middle Zhejiang, and has formed a road network that covers all rural and urban areas in the city, including G60 Shanghai-Kunming Expressway, G1512 Ningbo-Jinhua Expressway, 03 Hangzhou-Jinhua Provincial Highway, 37 Sheng County-Dongyang-Yiwu Provincial Highway, 20 Tongxiang-Yiwu Provincial Highway, Ring Road, Choucheng-Fotang Road, Sihai Avenue, Wuzhou Avenue, Yangguang Avenue, and other county and township roads. 

◎Airport

The Yiwu International Airport enjoys a favorable location, as it is only 5.5 kilometers from downtown Yiwu, 4.3 km from the exit of the Hangzhou-Jinhua-Quzhou Expressway, and 4 km from Yiwu Railway Station. It has built an 18,000-square-meter domestic terminal and a 13,000-sq-m international terminal, and has flights between Yiwu and 17 cities such as Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Sanya, Chengdu, Urumqi and Taipei, as well as Hong Kong and international cities such as Bangkok and Nha Trang. International flight routes linking Yiwu and Malaysia, South Korea, Cambodia, Japan and the United Arab Emirates are being planned. It is the fourth international airport in Zhejiang. Annual passenger throughput at the airport is expected to pass 2 million, cargo handling capacity to surpass 35,000 tons, and there are plans to open over 30 domestic and international flight routes by the end of 2020.

◎Railway

Yiwu Railway Station is a first-level station and has 11 platforms. A total of 311 trains are available here, among which 205 are high-speed trains and 106 are ordinary services. Yiwu is on the routes of the Zhejiang-Jiangxi Railway and Hangzhou-Changsha Railway. It only takes 30 minutes from Yiwu to Hangzhou and 90 minutes from Yiwu to Shanghai by high-speed train.

◎Ningbo-Yiwu Railway

The Ningbo-Yiwu Railway serves as a support project for Yiwu-Ningbo-Zhoushan corridor, along which 10 stations have been set up, including Yiwu, Suxi, Dongyang, Hulu, Nanshanhu, Shengzhou, Xinchang, Xikou, Fenghua and Yunlong. The railway started construction in December 2016, and the time from Yiwu to Ningbo by train will be cut to 90 minutes after completion. The freight distance from Ningbo Port to Yiwu will be shorten by 78 km. The railway is of great importance to integrating port and trade resources, and to improving Yiwu’s overall economic strength.

◎Hangzhou-Yiwu-Wenzhou Railway

The Yiwu-Wenzhou section of Hangzhou-Wenzhou Railway was approved at the end of 2016 and its construction started on Jan 3, 2017, marking its official launch. The Yiwu-Wenzhou Railway is 201 km long, and it takes only 36 minutes from Yiwu to Wenzhou if the speed of the train reaches 350 kilometers per hour.

◎Jinhua-Yiwu-Dongyang Light Rail

Urban light rail passing through the downtown area of Yiwu is planned by using the Jinhua-Yiwu and Pujiang-Yiwu-Dongyang railways. Four lines including the Yiwu section of the Jinhua-Yiwu-Dongyang Railway, the Yiwu section of Dongyang-Yiwu-Pujiang Railway, Metro Line 3 and Metro Line 4 are being planned. The project started construction on Dec 28, 2016. After its completion, the Jinhua-Yiwu-Dongyang Inter-city Light Rail will connect the three cities, combine their characteristic and advantageous industries, and integrate commercial and tourist resources along the route. A rapid transit route for urban agglomeration in central Zhejiang will be formed.
