The 12th China Yiwu International Forest Products Fair (Forest Fair for short) will take place in Yiwu International Expo Center form Nov 1 to 4.

In order to promote innovation and cooperation, the fair has been held annually since 2008 to lead the trends in China's forest industry. It boasts the reputation of "Forestry Olympics" for its scale, influence, and trade volume.

Under the theme of "Improving life quality with forest resources", this year's expo has set up a total of 3,500 booths to exhibit eight categories of forestry products.

To date, the number of booth reservations has reached 3,593, according to the organizing committee on Oct 15.

The organizing committee also told local media that the exhibition area will exceed 70,000 square meters, attracting about 1,200 exhibitors and more than 100,000 purchasers, including over 5,000 overseas visitors.

The 12th Forest Fair will make full use of Yiwu's position in the Belt and Road Intiative to invite more overseas exhibitors and purchasers and promote international exchanges with match-making activities and trade talks.
