Belt and Road MBA program launched in Yiwu

China's first MBA program under the Belt and Road Initiative was launched by the the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in Yiwu, Zhejiang province on Sept 5.

The two-year program, which is offered by the School of Belt and Road under UCAS, enrolled 26 students from 15 provinces and cities. It will cover 12 disciplines including management, economics, and law. 

The School of Belt and Road in Yiwu was jointly established by the municipal government and UCAS to help promote education and cooperation between countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

UCAS boasts a team of highly qualified faculty members, consisting of distinguished professors from CAS institutes, who are strong at both education and scientific research. 

The Yiwu campus will offer students with the best resources and an exemplary stage to develop themselves.

Yiwu is taking the advantage of the nation's Belt and Road Initiative to reshape itself as a "pearl of the Silk Road", transforming itself from a previous export-oriented city into a global trade center.
